This past weekend, the creative energy was unmistakable at the Red Eye Gorillas apparel and smoke shop, where rapper Smoothyungin and featured artist Yungen C3 were on set filming the music video for their new track, “Gang Wit Me.” The shoot offered a dynamic blend of raw street energy and polished visuals, all captured under the skilled direction of videographer Chrisshotya.

The project was anything but low-key. The Red Eye Gorillas' shops served as the perfect backdrop, gritty, stylish, and local. With its dual identity as a fashion-forward apparel hub and laid-back smoke shop, the venue added an authentic edge to the visual storytelling. A steady stream of supporters flowed through the set throughout the day, invited to witness the creative process in action.

The production spanned eight unique shots across two primary shop locations,

allowing for a variety of scenes that promise to keep viewers locked in. Among the standout moments were the hallway performance shots: tight, moody angles that contrasted sharply with the shop’s vibrant public areas. These scenes offered a cinematic depth and highlighted the chemistry between Smoothyungin and Yungen C3.

What made the shoot even more compelling was the behind-the-scenes energy. This wasn’t just a video shoot; it was a community moment. Fans and friends showed up not just to watch, but to be part of something bigger. It was a showcase of local talent, grassroots hustle, and mutual respect for the craft.
