Marvel has been very busy the past 10 years releasing a lot of Sci-fi that’s new and then introducing spinoffs that turn into their own exciting Franchises. It’s worked out to be a smart move as most of their ardent fans have kept up with yearly doses of fantasy and mania.
Opening this year in February Ant-Man and The Wasp:
Quantumania has drained box office revenues to the tune of over $214 million. Well, that figure will be going up as Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania buzzes into stores on 4K, Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital.
Having checked out the film on my home screen, the 4K does bring all the excitement of the theater including the presentation, sound, and excitement. Oh of course the screen size would never be IMAX or Dolby Atmos, but if you are a fan and missed it at the movies, then it’s the next best thing.
What about the storyline? Well, Cassie has grown and has become a science nut developing a few outrageous projects. One, however, is not a good thing as she has built a communications and travel device to the Quantum Realms. And, when it starts to take over the household, Scott, Hope, Janet, Cassie, and Hank are sucked into the center of Quantumania.
But things have changed for the worse in that weird world and Janet and Hank must deal with the situation. When they find out that it may be impossible to return home, the five superheroes work out a plan to stay clear of the menaces that they encounter. In a whole world of new landscapes, inhabitants, and dangerous things, except for the Ooze, it’s a battle every step of the way to find a door to return to Earth. When the Conqueror finds out they are in Quantum, they are about to find the going a lot more difficult.
