One of the globe's largest events is what attracts many merchandising companies to try and land some sort of recognition for their clients. These opportunities are what makes or breaks these companies for that fiscal year. So, attracting the best sponsors for these types of events is absolutely important for everyone in those kinds of businesses.
When a New York marketing firm tries to land a sponsorship at the 2025 World Cup in Brazil, things are looking up for Brad Lewison (Mark Wahlberg), the company’s top advertising rep, and Elijah DeBell (Paul Walter Hauser), its best market researcher. Their future seems bright, especially when their latest account with Regal Blue’s owner, Señor Santos (Benjamin Bratt), is approved, giving them a shot at the planet’s most prestigious soccer tournament. But disaster strikes during the celebration, and their dreams are thrown into jeopardy—especially after department manager Burgess (Molly Shannon) delivers the news that they’re part of company-wide layoffs. Just when they think they’ve lost everything, a mysterious gift in the mail gives them hope. Unfortunately, what seemed like a golden opportunity soon becomes their ultimate downfall, as the entire country of Brazil appears to be out to get them. Along the way, their wild adventure introduces them to a cast of eccentric characters, including Pavio Curto Bundchen (Sacha Baron Cohen), Cristos (Luciano Szafir), Emilia (Eva De Dominici), Antonia/Isadora Costa (Daniela Melchior), Eco Warrior Aaron (Eric André), and Eco Warrior Julie (Chelsey Crisp).

Back to his old tricks and bringing another off the wall comedy to the big screen, director Peter Farrelly still has what it takes. The one liners, along with the desperate run for safety adds an exploitative aspect to the picture allowing us to follow these personalities down the rabbit hole for welfare. Peter also added some great make-up and special effects to bring some realism to the film and enhance the comedic outcome as well. By including successful actors as Cohen, Bratt, Wahlberg, and Houser, Farrelly definitely helped bring this hit home.
Another fun journey from Amazon Prime is worth giving it a spin one weekend night, as you prepare that popcorn in your microwave and open up your favorite refreshments. The future of television and motion pictures is now, so take advantage of your streaming service and watch the many movies they all have to offer, especially this new release.

Final Comment: I based my grade on the amusing storyline and the wonderful performance from the cast.
Stars 3.25 out of 5
