This Toy Story journey continues through the hearts of our children and the spirits of the toys themselves. As the world is moving toward technology, so are the minds of our children.

This Toy Story journey continues through the hearts of our children and the spirits of the toys themselves. As the world is moving toward technology, so are the minds of our children. With today’s high tech cell phones and game devices that are available, our youth find themselves more interested in screens. Will our civilization recover from the modifications our future has created?

As this famous series has changed over the years our heroes now live with a wonderful and imaginative little girl named Bonnie (Scarlett Spears). Now leading her team of friends, Jessie (Joan Cusack) and Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen) have to keep the gang, Bullseye, Hamm (John Ratzenberger), Rex (Wallace Shawn), Slinky Dog (Blake Clark), Mr. Potato Head (Jeff Bergman), Mrs. Potato Head (Anna Vocino), Combat Carl (Ernie Hudson), and Dolly (Bonnie Hunt), under control as Bonnie tries to grow up. Including some of Bonnie's original friends, Forky (Tony Hale), Mr. Pricklepants (John Hopkins), Trixie (Kristen Schaal), and Karen Beverly (Melissa Villaseñor).

This Toy Story journey continues through the hearts of our children and the spirits of the toys themselves. As the world is moving toward technology, so are the minds of our children.

Bonnie's new adventure now deals with how the children have become obsessed with computerized toys. As she tries to fit in, her parents Mr. Anderson (Jay Hernandez) and Mrs. Anderson (Lori Alan) give her a gift to try and help her make friends. The toy world begins to adjust with the addition of Lilypad "Lily" (Greta Lee), a new technology that grabs Bonnie's full attention. Needing help Jessie reaches out to her old friend Woody (Tom Hanks) and his companions, Bo Peep (Annie Potts), Giggle McDimples (Ally Maki), Duke Caboom (Keanu Reeves), and Dr. Nutcase (Matty Matheson), a daredevil peanut toy.

New characters get introduced throughout this amazing adventure, like Blaze Manoukian (Mykal-Michelle Harris) an 8-year-old girl who loves animals. Blaze has her own toys that she grew up with, like Smarty Pants (Conan O'Brien), an electronic toilet training mechanism, Atlas (Craig Robinson), a cheerful talking GPS hippo toy, and Snappy (Shelby Rabara), an excitable toy camera. On a side event, Tim Allen also voices quite a few high-tech Buzz Lightyear units stuck in demo mode.

Bringing back this lovely series and completely transitioning the journey into what our kids face today was outstanding. Directors and writers McKenna Harris and Andrew Stanton pieced together a magnificent journey through the eyes of the toys and the children as they grow up and experience life as they grow up. The animation is performed perfectly with the use of computer animated imagery to help bring out a realistic view. Together these two develop a box office hit that will be sure to be loved by all.

Definitely worth taking some time off to go out and see this film at your local theater and experience it in the Dolby format. Great for all ages and worth the cost to celebrate a good time with your family.

Final Comment: I based my grade on a fantastic narrative with tremendous animation.
