The universe that brought dinosaurs back into existence gave us countless different experiences to remember. Going back to the first instance, along with the many years those incredible creatures were left alone. Including the building of a theme park to display them and finally bringing them all to us, with the dangers, as well as the beauty these life forms possess. With all that the earth began to recognize the injustice us humans brought back. Five years later we all began to realize that those same dinosaurs could not survive anywhere on earth except in an environment similar to where they once roamed and that such a place existed near the Equator in South America.

Twenty-six years prior, there were experiments on dinosaurs that occurred on a remote island off of the coast of Brazil, east of French Giana. Numerous different tests were made on these animals, sometimes creating something horrible and maybe invincible. Here they found that most of the creatures that remained lived in this area, but not all of these beasts survived as they were originally intended.

A pharmaceutical representative, Martin Krebs (Rupert Friend) with an unlimited amount of money wants to retrieve the blood from three of the dinosaurs remaining on an island east of French Giana. He searches out and approaches Zora Bennett (Scarlett Johansson), a covert operations expert, to convince her to join his team to retrieve these specimens. Needing a dinosaur expert Martin and Zora next reach out to Dr. Henry Loomis (Jonathan Bailey), a paleontologist, to help correctly identify the right species for the project.

The expedition meets up in Suriname where they meet Duncan Kincaid (Mahershala Ali), Zora's team leader and owner of the boat for the tour to the island. Here is where they meet up with the rest of the team before they set out on their mission. During their voyage they encounter various other characters and creatures bringing them closer to their objective and do what they can to stay alive.

Director Gareth Edwards puts together a very entertaining and enjoyable storyline that includes excellent sound and visual effects with outstanding computer-generated images (CGI). He keeps the audience involved throughout the journey and makes several scenes intense for our viewers. Gareth keeps the original theme and makes you wonder what will happen next. He does include some unrealistic situations, and expected outcomes that were a little unsettling. Since most of the previous Jurassic films were based on obvious sequences such as these, he was not too far off from most of what those quests brought us.

As for the performance from the actors, it was better than average, and I felt that Scarlet has played better roles in her past. The presentation from the crew was still way above average and helped you believe each person's role. If I were to rank it against all the other installments, it would be in the top three of the seven full feature motion pictures that were given to us.

Final Comment: I based my grade on the amazing visual and sound effects, an enjoyable storyline, and fun interpretation by the cast.

Stars 3.75 out of 5
